With Gordon Hayward, Joe Johnson and to a lesser extent George Hil commanding all the attention from the LA Clippers backcourt and wing defenders, Rodney Hood has quietly become a factor in this series. After a slow start through three games, coach Quinn Snyder empowered Hood to be aggressive looking for his shot and the results speak for themselves. In the last two games, hood has average 17ppg in 32mpg.
Both from looking at the numbers and watching the games, Hood is super confident in taking his shot, and his performances have significantly contributed to the two Jazz wins. Considering the success both Hood and the Jazz have had in the past two games with him firing up 16+ shot attempts, we should see more of the same, and with a line so low we say load up!
