Thad Young has been a quiet achiever pretty much his entire career and his time in Brooklyn has been no different. Just casually going about his business putting up good numbers on a bad team. It would be interesting to see what sort of contribution he would provide to a good team, and if the rumours of a deal to Toronto at the deadline had gone through we would’ve had the chance to see it.
Alas they didn’t and Thad is stuck for the terrible Nets in full on rebuild mode. Next game for them is against another rebuilding eastern conference team, albeit one that has decent young talent, in the Orlando Magic. After scoring 20 against the Heat last night we expect Young to eclipse this line of 14.5 again. He averages 2ppg more on the road than at home, 3ppg more in back to back games like this and our projection has him going over.
