Week 8 results
Week 8 started off well with a 5-2 day, unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. Some tips we were unlucky but realistically wouldn’t have put us in the green either. Our worst week by far going 11-17 and 2-4 on the daily tips with Embiid being a late scratching on one of the dailies. We still remain 146-126 for the year.
Our luck on close calls didn’t change, going 0-2 on tips decided by 0.5. This takes us to 11-21 on the season which at 50/50 would give us a 151-121 record and +10 units profit so there is still some luck to come our way. We also had Cauley-Stein get into foul trouble and Josh Richardson shoot 14% to go along with the two close losses. Even still, if these had gone our way we are looking at 15-13 which isn’t good enough when everything goes in your favour. We expect a +7 unit week, like two weeks ago, if that was the case. You can see below the profit based on a few example bet sizes for the season thus far.
No matter the size of your bankroll if you want to maximise profitability sign up to as many books as you can to take advantage of the best line and odds. We have already seen how half a point can swing things.Although these results are all positive it is still important to stick to your bankroll, we recommend no more than 3% of your bankroll per unit.
